Hello,
Our client runs AGS and custom SilverLight API application.
The application utilise ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer class.
Recently we upgraded from 10.1 to 10.3, recreated services, etc.
The problem is that after upgrade to 10.3, orthofotos (only) are displayed much darker than before.
Are there some changes in behaviour of ArcGISDynamicMapServiceLayer?
Thanks!
Michael
Are these images being served out as a dynamic mapservice as opposed to using a cache mapservice for static data or image server that is part of AGS?
Thanks,
Images are served out a a dynamic map service. This because we filter them with query.
Do you have a means of comparing the display settings for the images from before and after the upgrade?
I would check both the Display and Symbology tabs of the Layer Properties for the base imagery. maybe resampling in the display tab got changed back to a default setting.
Maybe the symbology was reverted back to a default setting after someone had modified these settings in 10.1 to brighten images that were dark by default.
Just some suggestions that I hope might help you out.
As Michael Volz presumed, the problem was with Display and Symbology tabs of the Layer Properties.
However, actually resetting to default values fixed the problem.
