Hello,
I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8 and have a Composite Address Locator that needs to be updated periodically. This composite locator has 3 address locators associated with it.
Since composite address locators cannot be rebuilt, is it ok to just rebuild the address locators that the composite locator uses and then republish the composite locator?
I guess my main question is: Does the composite locator need to be re-created or will it work appropriately when the associated address locators are rebuilt?
Thanks,
Josh

@JoshBillings You should rebuild or recreate the participating locators before overwriting or republishing the composite service. The following topic describes the workflow for Pro, but the same concept applies to ArcMap if the participating locators were created with the Create Address Locator tool in ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro 2.6 and earlier. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geocoding/keep-your-locator-up-to-date.htm#ESRI_S...

Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Thanks for the resource. Looks like the dev site is referenced. Here is the article from above: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geocoding/keep-your-locator-up-to-date.htm#ESRI_S...
