Change registered enterprise database connection ArcGIS Server
Hi all,
In our organization, we have a new SQL Server 2019 configured, (before we had 2016) and we are trying to updated the connection parameters (connection string, instance name) of the new instance. We found out that it is possible to change the connection string of the instance following Esri's documentation (Upgrade ArcGIS Server—ArcGIS Server | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise) but we are still missing a method to change the name registered with it.
So we would like to know if there is a supported way to do this or if this is not available at the time?
We have tried changing the name from the item registered in Portal but this hasn't worked either and in Server the option is unavailable as shows the image above. Any ideas would greatly help.
