ArcGIS Server REST API - call updateFeature using GlobalID only

I am attempting to update features in ArcGIS server using a feature service (UpdateFeatures operation on a Feature Services)...Unfortunately, I seem to only be able to do this if I pass in the ObjectID of the feature I wish to update (see the screen shot below showing the success).  But what I really need to be able to do is pass in only the GlobalID without the ObjectID.  Is this supported?  In my case, the external application that I am integrating with does not store the GIS ObjectID (but it does have the GIS Global ID).
