Using UK Admiralty Charts

Hi,
This is probably a problem with a really easy solution . . .!  I have a UK admiralty chart, converted to British National Grid, and I have a GB outline (also in BNG) and I cannot get the admiralty chart to lie in the correct position on the GB outline (it is currently sitting du north of Scotland at the minute!).
Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

Are you sure they are both in BNG? (Check Layer Properies > Source).

Also check Data Frame Properties > Coordinate System.
