spatial adjustment in 3-d

Hello,
I have 2 sets of data collected for one site using a total station that was positioned in two separate places (because of limited visibility of the site being surveyed).  I have used "spatial adjustment" "affine" to stick the data together using three common points.  On a 2-d (X-Y) level this has worked fine, however, the heights have not come together - there are several metres of difference in the height of adjacent points.

Should I be using a different transformation?  Or is there a way to link the z-values as well?  When I open the "view link table" option I see that only x and y are matched across.

Please help! Thank you
