Set Display Name for Referenced Item Fields in Portal to Change Legend Header in Map Viewer
Hi All,
I thought it was possible to change the circled value in ArcGIS Pro to then reflect in Map Viewer (the new one) in the legend. It is the legend header, and I think at one point replacing this worked... but now it does not appear to work. Has anyone else had this issue? Any idea how to fix it?
The other thought I had for changing this value is to change the display name on the field being used for symbology. According to this documentation though: Describe attribute fields—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise It appears that this workflow can only be done on hosted layers? Mine are all being referenced from our database. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?
Also, as a note, we are trying not to change the alias name in the database as that is needed for other services referencing that data, so it would have to be an item specific change, if possible...
