One-way travel direction indicators?

I'm sure someone has figured this out....how can I depict one-way travel direction indicators as a symbol (inside a cased street symbol, for example)? This is in 10.1, with geodatabase data providing road centerlines, with a one-way (from-to, to-from, unknown) attribute. In addition, we are also using route shields and road names.

Edit your symbol properties for the cased street line and add a new layer.  Make it a marker line symbol.  Browse through the point markers to find an arrow you like.  Then go to the Template tab and adjust the line pattern until the arrow spacing is how you like it.

You know what, I just realized this will help me emulate some CAD linetypes that I had trouble with before.  Thanks for bringing it up!
