I am using a hosted vector tile layer, created from a hosted feature layer, as a basemap in a public viewer.
I edited the feature layer's source data then overwrote the feature layer. One change I made was decreasing the symbol size of trees and shrubs. They are my only point feature sublayers participating in this service, so I don't have any other sublayers to compare this behavior to. After rebuilding the cache, the symbol size change does not appear in the hosted vector tile layer.

Trees and shrubs don't overwhelm the other basemap feature at the scale shown in the image above, but they do at smaller scales, which is why I was looking to update their symbol sizes.
I didn't see the same behavior when I published a new hosted feature layer and vector tile layer, but I'd like to avoid creating a new service for the basemap.
Is this a bug? Am I missing a step in the layer republishing and cache rebuilding workflow?
