Hello,

I'm working on a traditional style state tourist map, with the cities/towns in alphabetical order on the right, each with their corresponding grid number (A1, G3, etc).  So the reader looks up the city, finds the grid, and finds the city on the map.

I used the Grid Index Features tool to create a grid - not for what the tool use normaly used for (a map series aka data driven pages), but to populate that chart of cities and grid numbers.

For now, I'll have to Select Features by Location for each grid, one at a time, to populate the list.  Is there a tool or script to automate this process? So that the chart automatically updates like dynamic text?  Because we'll have to redo this everytime a new city pops up, or any time we make slight changes to the map layout.

Any suggestions are much appreciated, thanks!
