Hello all,

I am working on Cleaning up some of the unused web maps, apps, and feature layers in my Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.2.

I tried using a script recommended on the Esri website, "

Find dependencies in Portal for ArcGIS using ArcGIS API for Python [support.esri.com]."  unfortunately, the script listed all the dependencies on the entire Portal Site, in a very messy way that it was difficult to uniquely identify the files.

I tried to narrow it to the folder level by editing the script, but that didn't work. I tried to delete some of the web maps and apps manually, but I ended up deleting some of the critical files and having to rebuild the apps again.

I would really appreciate to get some help here

GeoJobe has a very powerful tool to perform this analysis (Admin Tools).  It has a cost associated with it, but I think it is worth it in terms of building code and working out the kinks in the code.

This option wouldnt work for me because of the cost attached. I would be required to justify the cost  and this is not a justifiable because it is an Esri application and they expect that Esri should have a solution to the issue.
