Clip ESRI imagery

Hey Forum,

I was wondering if its possible to clip imagery downloaded from ArcGIS Online (like World Imagery or Ocean Basemap)? I've got two overlapping imagery layers and I want to clip one along a boundary to have the other show through.

I found your question while looking for how to clip a basemap world imagery layer to use in analysis. I was able to clip the map area so that other regions don't show by right clicking the map tab properties and changing no clipping to clipping and then it prompts you to choose your extent. That might help for your purpose. I want to actually clip the world image and then save it as a new raster image. Hope this helps you.
