Cartographic Grid

I am looking at creating a cartographic grid in Arc 10, to help with some 50K mapping.  Can anyone tell me what is the best way to do this.  Thanks

Thanks for that.  I was thinking the grid would be as polylines but I suppose a grid of polygons will be just as good if not better.
