I want to share a interesting case that happend to us in firm where I am working.
Before I start here are some key facts.
As Database we are using Oracle 19c.
Our Enterprise Enviroment is 10.8.1.
We are using WebApp Builder as Basis and Esri Maps.
Our Services are referenced Services
Problem Description:
we had an Issue wenn using either Analyse WIdget in App or Analyse Widget in Map with Aggregate Points function we were getting wrong results. By lot of Data than can go unseen. Luckely we have excellent users that noticed this behavior.
After Support ticket with esri there was a Workaround and the Issue affected only Referenced Services.
Because we were aggregating Points on Polygons the Service with Polgon Layer had to have SHAPE.AREA and SHAPE.LENGHT fields not visible (had to republish the Service).
Only then did the Function perform as it should.
Hope this helps one or the other ArcGIS Enterprise Admin/User.
