Request to support adding secured WMTS services in Map Viewer, similar to ArcGIS Pro.

I need to add the WMTS Service in the map viewer, but I receive an error 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin'.

I can add the same service in ArcGIS Pro 3.5.1.

I suppose this issue is a limitation.

Please help add the WMTS service to the ArcGIS Enterprise portal map viewer.

I also have this issue with a WMTS from another organization. When I add a WMTS server connection in Pro, it prompts for username & password authentication. However, the same is not available when adding a WMTS service into Portal. In 2025, Esri should be able to do this already as basic map viewing (with web services) workflows have shifted from desktop to web clients already.

@SunkubbDev/ @kntr  I'm pretty sure this actually works allready. Have you added the domain in the list of trusted servers (Organization-->Settings-->Security-->Trusted Servers)?
