Offer recommended system configurations on Virtual Machines

This could be a great way for ESRI to showcase and allow clients to test their internal configurations against ESRI's recommended optimized systems.   In enterprise arena system performance has been the sore point for supporters of ArcGIS Server.  Optimized virtual machines with recommended configurations would allow them to play against a working solution.

Totally agree, especially using the latest ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java (Linux) in a development environment. The rumor is that some have failed and some suceeded at tweaking VMs get it to work.

The problem with relying on documents with recommended specs is that its very subjective; different use cases mean the specs of a machine can change.
