Maintain user's setting for number of items to display per page in Portal

While I love the new (in 10.7) ability to show more than a mere 20 items per page in Portal, could we please make it default to whatever the user set previously? It is frustrating to keep choosing the 60 (or 100) option every time I log in. Thanks.
