In an Oracle database, I would like to set update permissions at a column level in a versioned featureclass. I would like to grant some roles update on some columns and not others. I also want to revoke insert and delete permission on the featureclass so some roles but keep update.
This allows for better control of what the users have access to and protects data integrity.
