There is a configurations option in the ArcGIS Portal config file that allows for an organization to deploy a multi-tenant Portal, similar to how ArcGIS Online operates. In discussion with Esri tech support, they said that option is NOT a supported option. It should be.....
Some orgs need the ability to deploy separately managed Portals either to support other departments and/or teams. It would be a nice option to have to not have to deploy additional infrastructure whenever that needs to happen.
