Create a one-way replica from a feature service with sync enabled

As a system architect, I want to replicate and periodically synchronize one or more hosted or registered feature layers from one ArcGIS Enterprise environment to hosted or registered feature layers in another ArcGIS Enterprise environment in one direction through the feature service REST API so that I have a recent copy of the layers from the origin environment in the destination environment in a secure manner.

Reading over this, it seems like this functionality is already present within the software through the form of Distributed Collaboration. Is your request specific to the RestAPI?
