No "Labeling" option in layer's context menu

I have ArcGIS Earth 1.14. 

I'm interested in adding labels to some features.

According to this: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-earth/use/apply-label.htm you should be able to add labels to Shapefiles, .txt and .csv files, GeoJSON, and Feature services. However, when I try to follow the following steps from that site for a shapefile or feature service I've added to ArcGIS Earth:

I don't see the Labeling option. I see the same icon but it says "Symbology":

and there is no secondary menu to turn on label visibility.

Am I missing something?

Yes, labeling settings are supported starting from Earth v1.15:

With the Shapefile I am testing.. everything is according to the doc, Earth 1.16

Yes, labeling settings are supported starting from Earth v1.15:
