Trees not processing after Drone2Map upgrade to 2022-1

After upgrading to the newest version of drone2map 2022.1-we have been seeing major errors in processing trees. See below for two images processed with the same input images and same parameters (top is older version, bottom is after the update).  Notice the white gaps in the tree cover in the newer version. Any advice for how to fix this?
