Does a Basic ArcGIS Desktop License include ArcGIS Map and ArcGIS Pro use? I cannot run Pro.

I'm a brand new esri user, and I thought the description for ArcGIS Desktop said that I could run ArcGIS Map and ArcGIS Pro.  I installed both onto my PC, but after authorizing Map, I cannot authorize Pro.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Pro have 3 types of licenses. The default is ArcGIS on-line license. You should have a license in your on-line user.

You can make the pro license just like ArcMap license (Float or single) and you can put the license on your portal.

You must speak with your ESRI representative if you like to change the default.

Did you authorize your license?

Where are you in the complete installation help guide?

little things, like the organization you belong to, the user type,

Did you install the required version of license manager? etc etc.

You just don't install Pro after map and expect it to run without completing the necessary steps
