I was going to create a Dashboard, but I want to be sure that Dashboards will not be retiring soon, before I take the time to create one?
Does anyone know how much longer Dashboards will be around?

Not sure where you heard that, but Esri has not made any announcements regarding the retiring of ArcGIS Dashboards.
