Refining a spatial filter action in dashboard

Hi -- In one of my dashboards I have a category selector (school district polygon) with a spatial filter action linked to a map of census tracts. It works well.

The filter, though, picks up tracts that share a line segment with the selected school district boundary, but otherwise are outside of the district.

Is it possible to configure an spatial filter action to limit what gets returned, i.e. to show a tract polygon only if its centroid is overlapped by the district boundary? Or any suggestions on a workaround?

Thanks.

Hi Jim,

I'm not sure I understand what you mean here, can you please post a screenshot to clarify? Maybe two screenshots: one of the desired behavior and one of the undesired result?

Hi Jim,

Did you figure out how to solve this problem? I'm having the same thing happen.
