How to keep categories visible in the Dashboard graph

I want my categories to remain the same regardless of any actions (filters) I apply to my dashboard. Specifically, I want each of my 5 categories to remain visible in the graph even if there are no values in the category.

Yep -- I would like this, too! Unfortunately, I have not found a way to adjust/correct this.
