BA Dashboard with infographic - list and map select feature

I have created a dashboard through business analyst, by sharing sites for an infographic (embedded content). The dashboard that was generated has a dashboard, a map, and a list, and I am trying to configure it so that a user could click on a site name on the list OR on the map, and both methods would generate the infographic for that site.
However, when clicking on a site in the map, the list will also get filtered, and you have to clear the map selection to get the full list back.
Is there any way for both the map and list to connect to the infographic, without the map filtering the list? I worry that users may not know they have to clear the map selection, therefore making the list selection hard to use.
