I have a category filter set up to group various values together into one. The filter works great, but it does not allow filtering of other elements/layers based on a spatial relationship. Spatial is not an option when setting a filter action. Same goes for the URL parameter filter.
I think it is a very important enhancement to allow for spatial filtering (not just attributes) for both the category selector defined values and URL parameters. Otherwise, the dashboard is not as functional or useful.
