Ability to Group Series to Different Colour Ramps Based on Condition
In Dashboards -> Serial Charts Widget-> Series pane, it would be nice to be able to group series of values based on some condition, so that you can apply a custom colour gradient for each group of series.
Then I could apply a series of colour ramps based on that condition, let's say based on the value of another field.
For example, I have a few project IDs which are associated with the value "Bat" Under "Project_Type". These projects I want as a distinct colour gradient group in my serial chart, different from the projects I have associated with "Moose" under "Project_Type".
Then, my bar chart will have a different gradient for each category, so instead of this chaos:
I would have a nice brown gradient for all the projects under "Habitat", a Red gradient for
"Grizzly Bear", and so on for each category.
You can do it manually, but it would not be feasible for a project where the data is being added on a regular basis and the gradient needs to be adjusted, especially if you have more than 100 items in your series, such as my example.
