Hello,

In the iOS Data Collector App for 10.2, when I add a new point by click-and-hold- on map, the app automatically calculates an address and lat/long prior to bringing up the data entry form.  Is there a way to automatically have the address that is found sent to one of the attribute fields automatically?  My feature class that is being edited, is in SQLServer, registered, and published using ArcServer.

Basically, My point featureclass has a field for ADDRESS.  I would like the address found by the Data Collector app to be used to populate the ADDRESS field that is on my featureclass.  This way users will not have to type an address into the form.

Thanks for your ideas.

Depending on your setup you could use a server object extension

ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)

Wouldn't work off line though.

We are playing with extensions at the moment and the behavior we are looking at is inconsistent; ie edit events and timed events.

Could post process with a GeoProcessing Service.

Keen to hear other suggestions.
