Points display in Collector Classic and Explorer but not Collector

I have several point layers that I would like to be able to use in Collector for ArcGIS with their current symbology.  The problem is they won't draw in Collector unless I change the symbology to something that is offered within ArcGIS Online.

I can use the same map and feature layers in Collector Classic or Explorer and everything displays just fine.  I've attached a couple screenshots showing this.  The symbology was created in ArcMap and the data published to Portal on a federated server.  The feature layers were then copied to AGOL using stored credentials and the web map created within AGOL.

Lines and polygons render in all three applications without issue.

Here's a screenshot of some stormwater symbology I have. The line and polygons display as they should but none of the points do. The symbology was taken from ArcMap, and there's nothing special or complex about it to my knowledge.
