I'm having trouble with the map resolution of offline areas in Collector. I have a tile package that is in the correct projection (WGS 1984 Web Mercator), and it works as a basemap while our iPad is connected to the wifi. But it doesn't work when I have it set as the basemap for offline use due to a spatial reference error. ESRI personnel walked me through this and can't figure out why it isn't working offline. So I'm trying to use the basemap used in the webmap. Unfortunately, at the scale that I need (the state of Alaska), the topo map is unusable due to resolution issues.
Does anybody have any ideas either for getting the tile package to work offline or have a basemap with a enough resolution for an extremely large area (say 1/2 of continental US) to make a useful offline area?
