Is Field Maps going to replace ArcGIS Collector within a year?

During ESRI's 2020 UC I learned that ArcGIS Collector is going away in 6-12 months, to be replaced by an app called Field Maps.  Does anyone have any more information concerning this move, e.g. will it be able to be run using the same hardware as Survey 123, ir will the hardware need to be upgraded, etc.

Based on current iOS and Android user base, Field Map will require minimum version of iOS 13 and Android 8 for the first version of Field Maps.
