we are looking for a solution that works and is easy to pair with Collector we have tested a GPS reciever that claims to pair with collector with little success. I am just looking for some insight from the rest of the communtiy before we continue to test.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

I'm using an Arrow 100 receiver to pair with Collector using an iPad. It's worked well so far.

By the way Matt, I'm using an iPad and the Arrow 100 is Apple Certified so I know it's been tested already. Just wanted to let you know.

Hola Matt,

Here are a few external GPS receiver's we have seen success from our customers in the last year or so, that have been paired with Collector on all three platforms. Please keep in mind these are not suggested by Esri but just some that I have seen through various cases. Gracias, Matt!

Here are some external GPS receiver's with Sub-meter accuracy for use with Collector

I believe collector will work with the R1 from Trimble if you've upgraded to the latest firmware so you can apply NMEA settings to the R1 using the GNSS Status Utility before connecting it with Collector. I just did that and got down to 20in accuracy with SBAS. The GNSS Status Utility isn't even installed on the Windows 10 Tablet I was using.
