Collector on iPad shut downs when opening tpk basemap

Hello,

I have loaded a TPK basemap to Collector on an iPad but Collector shuts down when I try to change to the on device basemap. Collector fails when I tap on the Basemap or Action tools. You then need to reinstall Collect to get the program to run correctly. The same basemap does work on an Android device. The TPK basemap is 1.1 GB in size and is in state plane coordinates since the feature services are in that projection.

Are there any suggestions as to why the basemap is not working on the iPad? Collector version is 10.4.2 and iOS 10.3.2.

I have upgraded to Collector version 17.0.1 and still have the same problem.

I was able to use ArcGIS Pro to generate the tile package and it work on our iPad. Using ArcGIS Pro shorten the processing from days to hours.
