Is there any plan to introduce customizable forms for data entry in the next release of collector for ArcGIS?

This should be a no-brainer function, I don't know why ESRI didn't implemented it at the first place. data collection form should be separate from underlying data model. there must be a way to abstract a virtual form from the underlying tables...
