ArcGIS Online Map and Data or ArcGIS Server

Hello,

We have just began playing around with Collector.  We are going to view one of the seminars today.  However, I was wondering if anyone had a link to some good information on how to use Collector with our own SDE geodatabase instead of ArcGIS Online.  Is Portal required to do that?

I know functionallity has changed since this seminar was recorded, but it talks about Portal for ArcGIS and the collector app.

Hi,

collector requires either an ArcGIS Online subscription or Portal for ArcGIS. If you want to take your ArcSDE data into collector, you will also need ArcGIS Server.

Thank you for the links.  We have ArcGIS Server and a subscription to ArcGIS online.  We do not have portal though and I do not believe we will be able to purchase the extension.  So, we will just work around it 🙂
