I'm using an EOS Arrow 100 connected via bluetooth to my iPad Pro using ArcGIS Collector Classic (currently seems there are too many bugs with New Collector) and using AGOL as my hosted service.

When tracing new lines I noticed interference when I access a trails near power lines, rock cliffs, big trees, even some greenways that go underneath Highways.

My idea would be , if possible, once the signal is disrupted that the iPad Camera is activated measuring distance, speed and direction so that once Satellites reconnect the camera switches off and data is verified via Collector.

In addition, It would be nice to see when a line is within a certain proximity to another line (creating a loop for data) that an automated or manual "snap-to" option is available such as pen tool in Photoshop. This way I save lots of post-processing time.

It would be nice to have more editing tools available in collector before syncing to hosted services. Field work sometimes varies, best to correct it at the source of the problem instead of later.

Happy Trails!
