Hi ,

When opening the "import" window I do not have a selection for DAE Import ( I'm on CE Basic 2012.1) . I have a lot of 3D models imported through SUp in that format . Is there a trick ?

Hi,

http://www.esri.com/software/cityengine/buy/comparison-table

Check 'Advanced 3D Format Support'

Ok ?

OK, well taken !
I found a solution for now through Archicad where I import .skp files and export them as .obj in CE . But for the next version of CE I may upgrade to "advanced" unless "basic" improves on that point.

Best regards,

Hi,

This won't change in CE 2013.

Note that the TRIAL version is the CE Advanced version, so this may help you if you need to 'save' some project files if you're stranded now.
