color("#ff0000") is the old hexadecimal color code for red.
color(1,0,0) is rgb (0-1, not 0 - 255 !) color code for red. this can be used only in 2011 and after.

so you need to write the hex version in 2010.3, ok ?

the current examples are not that detailed, but you could also create details as guard rails and such in cga.

it's just a question of how much detail you want / need.

as the name says the examples are examples, but do not represent the quality of what details can be ultimately be produced. The more time you invest in details and in CGA code, the more details you can produce. 🙂
