CityEngine export and Vue 9 ecosystem problem

Hello

I've succesfully exported buildings from CityEngine to .vob files (Vue's native object file type). The problem is that when I distribute the buildings using Vue's ecosystem material, all the buildings are "standing" up side down, on their "heads".

I was wondering if there is somekind of coordinate x,y,z problem and I tried to find an option to flip the y coordinate when exporting but there seems not to be such an option in CityEngine (or I can not find it).

Is this a bug in CityEngine or can I do, or do I need to do something with Vue to get this right? I'm using Vue 9 Complete.

Marko

Hi Marko,

load the exported *.vob file in vue and save it again as *.vob. Now it is correctly shown in the ecosystem module. Eventually you will have to restart vue.
