I am playing around with processing commercial imagery as texture maps and assorted DTED data for elevation maps in CityEngine. I have had some success and want get going on producing a variety of product. At this point I find as you zoom into the resulting terrain layer it turns very bumpy, like piles of small mounds or pyramids. Is there a way to minimize this effect or noise during pre-processing of either or both imagery and elevation sources? Anyone else experienced this and have a cure?
Can you post a screenshot ? Also, maybe play with the U and V subdivision values of the terrain layer in the Inspector. (Press 7 to activate wireframes and set the wireframe alpha to 0.2 in the terrain layer )
