Currently it is not possible to transfer the layout of a UV set to other UV sets. For example, on street shapes dirt maps can be used to depict tire tracks along the street. This however, limits the uv layout of the underlying asphalt texture to the same UVs, making irregular tiling impossible.
A simple cga command, such as
copyUV(from, to)
can prove very useful in a lot of cases.
