Conversion of Polar Stereographic projection from one true latitude to another

I have two datasets: 1) NSIDC daily Arctic sea ice concentration and b) GEBCO IBCAO Arctic Ocean bathymetry, both mapped on Polar Stereographic projection. The problem is different true latitudes – sea ice concentration data true scale is set at 70°N while bathymetry is projected with standard latitude at 75°N. Is there any tool or script that would convert one projection to match another?

Hello Murad,

You are correct that you need a translation algorithm to convert between the two coordinate system projections. I would reach out to the Esri geographic referencing team to see if they have a translator or any other recommendations for you.

Sincerely,

Meredith, Esri Maritime

Hello Meredith,

Thanks for your reply. Can you give me any pointers on what would be the easiest way to reach geographic referencing team?

Many thanks,

Murad.

I would perhaps post this question to the core ArcGIS Pro questions list and hopefully it will get funneled to the right recipients.
