URL Scheme with AppPlayer

Is there a way to invoke the app URL Scheme with the AppStudio AppPlayer. I have had to build the APK in order to test/build out this functionality for my app. 

For Example, this works fine with a apk, but how do you test this with the app player so for every little change I dont have to build/make

myapp://?some_parms=some_value

Not yet. We have had this in the backlog for a while. Let me get back to see if we can squeeze this in the current release (v 2.0).

Hint: You can always do this in your custom player codebase.
