How can I change the language settings on AppStudio for Desktop to English?

I find it hard enough to build an app using these tools, but having my whole setup in German, because I happen to be in Germany isn't really helping at all...

I can't find any language settings in the desktop app. is there something I am missing?

On windows- You can launch AppStudio Desktop in any supported language you like using command line

C:\Users\<username>\Applications\ArcGIS\AppStudio\bin\AppStudio.exe --locale en

On Mac - just change the Preferred language.
