Change default apps folder

Is there a way to change the default path for downloaded and newly created apps? Right now it is here C:\Users\user\ArcGIS\AppStudio\Apps\

I would like to change it to my Git repository outside of the user profile.

Changing the path for the downloaded and newly created apps is not currently supported in AppStudio Desktop. But the way we handle this is by using the tool to link the folder of your app in the AppStudio home folder to your Git folder using tools like Symbolic Link or MK Link.
