AppStudio 4.4 and Google Play Store Background Location Requirement
The Google Play Store has recently updated its privacy policy and review process for apps that require permission to use location in the background. (see this announcement from Google for more information). If you are submitting or have submitted your AppStudio app to the Google Play Store using AppStudio Cloud Make 4.4 or below; and have received a warning message regarding the usage of Background Location in your app, you can either:
Submit the justification to Google on why you need to use background location in your app. (Include video and in-app disclosures).
or
Rebuild and resubmit the app using a new updated AppStudio Cloud Make service that includes a hotfix for the background location issue (Android only). You can access this Cloud Make service by changing the Cloud Make URL to https://appstudio.arcgis.com/next/api in the setting of the AppStudio Make tool.
