Uninstalled Silverlight API 2.4 and installed new 3.0.
Application created with the ESRI Viewer template doesn't work.
The viewer fails to initialize.

Is there something else that needs to be installed?
Also prior viewer template application created with 2.4, when changing all of the references to the 3.0 dll's doesn't seem to start either.
What is the proper way to upgrade to silverlight 3.0 and use the Viewer template...

One thing that caused me some initial headaches was the System.Windows.Interactivity assembly.  Have you downloaded the Blend 5.0 preview and made sure you are using that assembly?

Good Luck

I don't think they upgraded the viewer template for API 3.0 so I have have my references pointing to 2.4. The real trouble I had was upgrading to Silverlight 5 Toolkit. Silverlight 5 is okay but the additional Silverlight 5 Toolkit did not work at all with the viewer template. I reinstalled Silverlight 4 Toolkit and using the API 2.4 references and the viewer template seems to be happier now. I imagine the next update for the viewer and viewer template will correct these problems (hopefully). Hope that helps.
