I'm wanting to connect to a Map Service via C# WPF. I create the Map Service from a .mxd file that I created through ArcMAP. After creating I cannot connect to it through WPF, I can load it through the services/rest in ArcMap, but it does not display the Image in ArcMap either. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong, do I need to use a .msd to create my map service? Can I upgrade to 9.3.1 from 9.3? Is there a file to download so I can upgrade to 9.3?
I've been looking for a tutorial on creating a Map Service from something simple like a shape file, but haven't had much luck finding one.
